How the rewards add up
$100 a Year, Up to $500
Reward dollars are earned after each completed paid membership year. You do not receive $500 when you join, and a partial year earns nothing.

Reward dollars apply toward a qualifying water heater replacement — a complete residential unit supplied and installed by Sonlight Plumbing — and have no cash value. Repairs, diagnostic-only visits, parts-only purchases and third-party installations are not eligible. $500 is the maximum, and a maximum of $500 in combined rewards may be redeemed per qualifying installation. You can cancel any time: a full refund within 30 days, and after that the fee minus the regular price of services already received. Membership Terms at a Glance
Sonlight Rewards is an annual membership for one residential address. It is not insurance or a warranty, and it does not pay for or include repairs. It renews automatically — each 12-month term renews for another year at $199 plus applicable taxes until you cancel. We email a reminder 30 days and 7 days before your renewal date, and you can cancel any time before the renewal date by phone, text or email, which stops the next charge. The first membership year includes two full maintenance visits, the Member Welcome Visit and the Annual Plumbing Maintenance Visit; each later annual membership includes the Annual Plumbing Maintenance Visit but not another Welcome Visit. Each maintenance visit includes the whole-home plumbing inspection and either one tank-style water-heater flush or one tankless descaling, based on the installed system and only when the equipment is safe and appropriate to service. The $79 dispatch fee is waived on the annual maintenance visit. Active members receive 10% off all plumbing work, up to $500 per job. On a water heater replacement the 10% discount (still capped at $500 per job) can be combined with earned reward dollars. On ordinary service calls, the standard $79 dispatch fee applies. Member benefits do not combine with other promotional discounts. Unused annual visit benefits do not roll over and have no cash value; reward dollars are separate and are what accumulate between years. Reward dollars are earned only after each completed fully paid 12-month term, a partial year earns none, they are promotional credits rather than cash, and they remain yours after cancellation. Transfers require both people to be active members; a former member may still redeem rewards already earned but cannot transfer them. The separate $300 water heater promotion cannot be combined with either member benefit: you choose the standalone $300 offer or your membership benefits, not both. Repairs and replacements are quoted separately. Enrollment may be completed by phone, by text through the office, or in person during a scheduled Sonlight Plumbing visit. Yes. On a water heater replacement, the 10% member discount (up to $500 per job) can be combined with the reward dollars you have earned. Example: on a replacement that comes to 3,000 dollars, with $200 in earned rewards, the member discount is $300 and the $200 in rewards also applies, for $500 off. The separate $300 water heater promotion cannot be combined with either member benefit: you choose the standalone $300 offer or your membership benefits, not both.
Reward dollars you already earned in completed years stay yours and can still be used toward a qualifying water heater replacement. A year you did not finish earns nothing.
Then you got a professional set of eyes on your plumbing, the scheduled water-heater maintenance handled when the equipment was safe to service, and another $100 toward your next water heater — which is exactly the kind of year you want. The membership is not a bet that something breaks.
Jose comes out at a time you picked, walks the house checking the accessible items in the list above, and performs the applicable water-heater maintenance when the equipment is safe and appropriate to service. He tells you what he found in plain terms. If something needs work, you get the options and the price, and you decide. Nothing is done that day without your approval.
Call or text. Enrollment is completed with our office by phone or text, or in person during a scheduled Sonlight Plumbing visit. There is no online payment and no self-service signup on this website.
If your home is new construction, your water heater is nearly new, and you would rather just call when something breaks — this probably is not worth it to you yet. We would rather tell you that than sign you up for something you will not use.

Ready to join or have questions? Call or text Sonlight Plumbing. Our office can complete enrollment by phone or text, or you can enroll in person during a scheduled Sonlight Plumbing visit. A separate in-person enrollment visit is not required. The membership renews automatically each year until you cancel, and we provide the full terms, including how to cancel, before enrollment is completed.
